Introduction

Aims of the Training

This training is aimed at Care Assistants who will be working towards administering medication within their settings.

This training is an entry-level awareness training and you should also take the supplementary training: Administering Medication to Individuals; Administer Medication to Individuals with Dementia, and Medication Administration for Senior Carers.

This training is theory-based and does not include a competency assessment, which must be done by a qualified individual at your company.

Please take your time to complete this course. We anticipate this module will take you approximately 1 - 2.5 hours to complete. 

There will be an assessment at the end of the session with 20 questions; you will need to score 70% to pass.
